Greetings!  


It’s cold outside!  Don’t sacrifice your exercise.  The Fitness Center has an inside walking path along the perimeter of the gym area.  There’s plenty of equipment for exercising.  If you are unfamiliar with the gym and it’s equipment drop in on any Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and there will be a certified personal trainer to orient you to the Fitness Center at no charge.  If you’d like a personalized exercise program, the trainers are available for hire.


The equipment is for everybody’s use.  Please don’t remove it from the Fitness Center.  It’s nice to have the weights and bands right there available for use and not locked up.


There are also classes in Yoga Dance, Walking Tall, Zumba and Fall Prevention through Balance Improvement.  Details are in the Bulletin and in the flyers at Activities and in the Fitness Center.  


We are looking for Volunteer Greeters for the Fitness Center.  There are day slots and evening hours (4-6 p.m. and 6–8 p.m.) and weekends anytime.  If you can spare two hours a week to help out, it would be appreciated.  It’s a chance to meet your neighbors, encourage your own work out and give back to the Village.  If you have any questions, just give me a call.  I’d be glad to discuss it with you.  Enjoy all the good things the Village has to offer!
